Joni Byun

Senior Vice President

Joni Byun is senior vice president of Nakatomi & Associates. She serves as the strategic manager for social marketing and communications campaigns to diverse audiences. With more than 10 years of experience in issues-based communications, Joni brings a broad range of expertise to her clients including community outreach, stakeholder engagement and media relations.

She serves on the American Heart Association's Asian Pacific Islander Taskforce, Communications & Marketing Coordinating Committee and the Women and Minorities Leadership Committee. Joni volunteers with several nonprofit organizations, including Project by Project, Great Leap, a performing arts organization, and Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Los Angeles and the Inland Empire. Joni also provides pro-bono public relations services to the Little Tokyo Service Center, Visual Communications and other community-based organizations. She is currently a Fellow with Network of Korean-American Leaders.
