Danielle Fairlee helps people tell their stories via the ever-changing world of print, broadcast and social media in Los Angeles and beyond. With a background in print journalism, she brings strong writing and editing skills to every project. At Nakatomi & Associates, Danielle has worked on campaigns to raise awareness about important social justice issues, including family reunification for children in foster care, teen dating violence prevention, and cervical cancer prevention and detection. Over her career, she has consulted on media relations and writing projects for high-profile companies like Majestic Realty Co., Southern California Edison, The Home Depot, and Pioneer Electronics (USA). A graduate of USC, Danielle also worked in the media relations department at Cerrell Associates Inc., the largest independently owned PR firm in Los Angeles.
With a passion for arts education, Danielle has provided pro bono services to several Los Angeles-based youth theatre organizations, including the highly regarded Teenage Drama Workshop at California State University, Northridge. And as “empty-nester” parents, Danielle and her husband, film editor and voiceover artist Brian Fairlee, launched a free podcast available on iTunes called “The Brian & Danielle Show,” which features interviews with their friends who “are famous or should be famous.” When she’s not podcasting, Danielle enjoys watching live theatre and connecting with her broad network of friends and colleagues on social media. Even her rescued hound dogs have an Instagram: @tobybassetfinnbeagle.
