For over 30 years, NakatomiPR has worked at the nexus of communications, strategy, and advocacy to support mission-driven organizations and values-driven leaders to reach their goals to create more equitable, healthier and sustainable communities.

We believe it's essential for communications to reflect the diverse, authentic voices and lived experiences of our communities. We focus on community-informed approaches and capacity building with organizations to maximize their impact for good and influence positive behavior change.

Good work and relationship building take time. Our longest retained client has been with us for over 26 years and counting. We’ve always worked in close collaboration with our clients. They trust us.

Strategic communications is often complex—our audiences are diverse and multilingual, and messaging is often late to reach them. A clear pathway and simple solutions are elusive in this work.  We are committed to forging consensus approaches and delivering equitable approaches.
