Vanessa Kang is a born and raised Hawaii local who one day left the island and ended up in Los Angeles. After studying political science at the University of California, Los Angeles, Vanessa now works as an Account Coordinator at Nakatomi & Associates where she provides administrative assistance and media relations support for multiple accounts, including Southern California Edison, the Los Angeles Regional Water Quality Control Board, A Place Called Home and the California Tobacco Control Program.
She designs community outreach updates and forms for the Los Angeles Regional Water Quality Control Board and has led an electrical safety reading tour across several libraries in Orange and Los Angeles counties as part of Southern California Edison’s public safety education outreach campaign. She also developed promotional videos for the Asian Smokers’ Quitline and conducts research for potential new business.
In her spare time, Vanessa enjoys falling into Wikipedia holes and binge-watching all the shows you already finished years ago.
